We answer the questions we’re asked most often
How far in advance should I book my move?
In peak season and at month-end, ideally 1–2 weeks. Outside those peaks we usually offer a date within 48–72 hours. If it’s urgent, ask us: we can prioritise slots from cancellations or late-afternoon windows.
How do you calculate the price of a move?
By volume (m³), access (floor, lift, distance to the van), distance between addresses, estimated time and any extras (packing, assembly, storage, tail-lift platform). We send a written quote with the detailed scope.
What’s included in the standard service?
Loading and transport, basic protection with blankets and film, multi-point strapping inside the vehicle, and unloading at the destination property. Options such as packing, assembly or a tail-lift platform are added if you need them.
Can you do the packing for me?
Yes. We offer fragile-only (crockery, glassware, TV, pictures) or full room-by-room packing with reinforced boxes and wardrobe cartons. We label every box to speed up unpacking.
What don’t you transport?
We don’t move hazardous materials, flammables, gas cylinders, live animals or any goods prohibited by regulations. If you’re unsure about an item, check with us before the date.
How do you prepare furniture and appliances?
We dismantle what’s agreed, keeping fittings in labelled bags. We protect worktops, doors and glass. For appliances: fridges disconnected and empty 24 hours beforehand; washing machines drained and, where applicable, with the drum secured.
What if there’s no lift or access is tricky?
We assess using a lifting platform (if the façade allows) or increase crew and time.
Do you handle inter-town and long-distance moves?
Yes. Regular routes Costa del Sol ↔ Campo de Gibraltar (Marbella, Mijas, Fuengirola, Manilva, Sotogrande, Algeciras, Gibraltar) and longer distances with prior planning. We agree a delivery window and provide tracking.
Do you offer storage?
Yes. Short- or long-term storage with itemised inventory and protection. Ideal if key handovers are on different dates or you’re renovating. We can schedule partial deliveries if you need phased receipt.
Can I hire just a self-drive van?
Of course. We have vans in various sizes and accessories (trolleys, blankets, straps). If mid-way you decide you need extra help, you can combine the hire with hourly loading/unloading support.
How do you organise an office move?
A phased plan with workstation labelling, equipment packing, weekend relocation and reinstallation so you’re operational on Monday. We can coordinate with IT and building maintenance.
